I saw this question on Plinky  and wondered how many people would have any idea. Do you know? I know because I keep a list and break it up by year. I don’t count articles or magazines, just books. In 2011 I read 34 books with fiction accounting for 10 of those. Fiction-wise, Scott recommended The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series and Scott’s aunt Judy recommended the Percy Jackson series. I thought both were fantastic.

A little digression, the wee snake in the photo has a brother (or perhaps sister?) who is available for adoption in my Etsy store, you can see the listing here. Back to books, I’ve always kind of suspected that this would seem obsessive or weird to anyone else but I really like to look back and see the titles and remember the books themselves. It is like looking back through a diary but more interesting. I know there are other ways to keep this kind of a list and I do have profiles on pinterest, google books, and goodreads  but my word processor doc-system  is the easiest for me to keep up. So, I have 2 questions for you:

1) Do you keep track of your reads? 2) Do you think it is a weird thing to do?
