
I just love how these look when the frost accentuates their edges. The birds brought these plants here from the neighbor’s yard as seeds long ago and I can’t figure out what they are. They aren’t succulent, look great all year, don’t flower and don’t lose their leaves. Do you know what they are?

Thank you for checking on this, it is close but not quite the same plant. I have sempervivum in another part of the yard and it is much softer and more succulent than this stuff. See how different the “whorls” are as the leaves grow? I can’t figure this one…
