Tuesday morning: We are docked in Juneau. On-shore adventure awaits!

Monday afternoon: We left Ketchikan at 3 PM and are heading North through the Inside Passage to Juneau. We roamed around town, bought some gifts and had a great cup of Ketchikan roasted coffee. It rains 12.5 ft / year!! Arf! New photos have been posted to Scott’s Facebook page.

Sunday afternoon, May 16: We’ve just passed the northern end of Vancouver Island and heading out into open ocean through Queen Charlotte Sound aboard the Norwegian Star. Click this link to see the ship’s real time position at sea:

We’ll be arriving at Ketchikan, Alaska at 7 am on Monday morning. Our most Northern destination is Skagway and then back South for some kayaking at Prince Rupert before heading back to Seattle via the Western shore of Vancouver Island.
