The Galaxy Song by Monty Python

And pray that there’s intelligent life somewhere up in space, ’cause there’s bugger all down here on Earth.

Do you remember this one?

The professor I am TA for posts this video with the NASA slideshow as a “congratulations card” for the students at the end of each term. Written by Eric Idle for Monty Python‘s 1983 film, The Meaning of Life, this song has a life of its own.
